David Madruga qualified in dentistry (Licenciado en Odontología) at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid and holds an MSc in Implant Dentistry (Merit) from the University of Leeds. He is Associate Professor in Periodontics at Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, and a former Tutor on the RCS(Eng) Diploma in Implant Dentistry.
